Journal Entry 6

I don't know what I would do if I had ten million dollars. I do think that I would buy a house. I would also like to buy a new car. Then, I would decide to never work again. I do not understand how people who win the lottery end up being broke. I can not imagine being able to spend ten million dollars, let alone more than that. I think I would like to move on top of getting a new house, I would build a brand new one. A house on a golf course would be nice.

Journal Entry 4

What embarrasses me the most? Getting fired. Today, I got fired from my job, or, "let go," as they called it. Under the circumstances, it is considered retalitation for a prior incident. But that is a whole different story. It is quite embarrassing being fired because it has to do with your pride. It seems everything good you feel about working and earning money is going down the drain. All that hard time and work put in with nothing in return but a, "see ya," is very hurtful. It was embarrassing telling co-workers that working there was no longer an option but an order. That is very embarrassing and humiliating. Especially I wasn't in the wrong.

Journal Entry 3

I do not particularly have someone in my mind that would be considered a hero to me. I think the definition of a hero is someone that has done something life-saving, or life-changing for a person. I also think that people overuse the term to describe people they admire. For instance, I see a lot and hear a lot of people say that they have heroes, like sports figures, famous personalities. You may look up to them, but just because you admire them, it does not mean they are a hero to you. It may be a personal thing that I don't understand. But when I see another person call Michael Jordan his or her hero, I just brush it off. I guess the closest thing to a hero I would have would be my parents. My dad is a police officer in Oklahoma City, he has saved people on April 19th, and many other times. He would be someone that I look up to. My mom would be up there too, only because she has put up with 2 boys for well over 17 years and is still alive.
