Oklahoma Weather

Oklahoma weather is pretty crazy. One day it can be in the 40's and in the next day, it can be in the 70's. When its hot, its very hot, when its cold, its very cold. It rained sooo much this summer and last winter we had some of the worst ice storms.

Journal Entry 12

I think that some men and some women think that there should be roles for the opoosite sex. But I believe that in today's society, roles are becoming more and more equal. Who knows, by next election we may have a female president! That would be something, I can tell you that. There are of course people who think women should just be housewives and stay at home moms. And men should always be the hard worker and bring home the money. But really it goes both ways now. Times are changing.

Are celebrities as happy as they seem? I don't think so. I would think that they have all kinds of pressures to deal with like keeping up an image and not messing up. It is so easy to get caught doing bad things and having them blown up and just ruining someones career. How many celebrities have we heard of doing drugs, drinking and driving, just bad things. I think the publication of these problems just brings them down even more. The who is skinny and who has had plastic surgery junk is getting ridiculous.

How addicted is society to cell phones? I think we are very addicted to them. It is almost a necessity for some. I know I hate going anywhere without my cell phone. What gets me is people who are on their phone while they are driving. That is one thing that needs to change at least with a law. I heard kids in kindergarten were having phones in school. That is just ridiculous. Who knows, I bet cell phones will be irrelevant one day. Technology is crazy.

What would it be like to be The President of the United States? First off it would be a huge honor I'm sure. But I wonder what it must be like having all that power? I know if I were President I would be very stressed, the things you have to keep up with inside the U.S. let alone the rest of the world would be too much for me. Dealing with tragedies all the time, it must be like an emotional roller coaster.

Would I tell my best friend if their significant other is cheating on them and with whom? I sure would. I know what its like to be on the best friend side of the whole cheating thing and it is terrible. It is one of the worst feelings in the world to know your girlfriend is or has cheated on you. I would tell anyone, best friend or not if they were being cheated on and I knew about it. It is so shady.

Journal Entry 7

My favorite kind of music is a toss up. I like rock music, but I also like rap. I really like the variances in the different types of rock music from punk to hard rock to alternative. Rap is one of my favorites because I really like the sounds of the melodies and beats that are produced. It is crazy how music is always changing, but it is very entertaining, I enjoy all music really.
